What to Expect at Your First Visit

We want your first appointment to feel comfortable, informative, and stress-free.

1. Let’s Get to Know You

We’ll review your health history, discuss your concerns, and take time to understand your goals. Whether you’re dealing with a specific issue or simply want to improve how your body feels and functions, we’re here to listen.

2. A Personalized Evaluation

Dr. Marcus Robinson will perform an evaluation based on your symptoms, health history, and individual needs. This may include assessing your posture, spinal mobility, joint movement, and other relevant areas.

3. A Plan Built Around You

We’ll explain our findings, answer your questions, and discuss appropriate care options. When clinically appropriate and with your consent, treatment may begin during your first visit.

4. Moving Forward Together

Your care doesn’t stop after your visit. Depending on your needs, we may recommend therapeutic massage, rehabilitation exercises, or supportive strategies to help you maintain progress.

What Makes Us Different

Personalized Care. A Whole-Body Perspective.

We believe your body works as an interconnected system. Rather than looking only at where you feel discomfort, we consider how your spine, muscles, joints, and movement patterns work together.

As a family-owned practice, we’re proud to combine chiropractic care, therapeutic massage, and rehabilitation in one welcoming setting.

Our goal is simple: help you feel heard, understand your options, and take an active role in your health.

FAQs

Answers to common questions about chiropractic and massage care at Robinson Chiropractic & Wellness Center

Please complete the new patient paperwork that was emailed to you before your appointment. Bring your photo ID and insurance card if you plan to use insurance.

Your first chiropractic appointment typically takes about 45 minutes to an hour. This gives us time to review your health history, talk through your concerns and goals, perform an examination, and determine the best next steps for your care.

Follow-up chiropractic visits are usually much shorter.

We accept a variety of insurance plans and also offer self-pay options. Our team can help answer questions about your coverage.

Usually. Dr. Robinson will first review your history and perform an appropriate evaluation. If chiropractic treatment is suitable and you consent, care will begin during your first visit.

Sometimes. If X-rays or other imaging are clinically indicated, Dr. Robinson will explain why and discuss the next steps.

No. Chiropractic care focuses on the musculoskeletal system, including spinal and joint function. We work with patients who have a variety of movement-related concerns and wellness goals.

Comfortable clothing that allows you to move easily is best for your examination and treatment.

We offer 25-, 50-, and 90-minute massage sessions depending on your needs.

  • 25 minutes is best for focused work on one or two specific areas.
  • 50 minutes is a great choice for a more complete therapeutic massage and is our most versatile option.
  • 90 minutes allows extra time for full-body work, multiple problem areas, or a slower, more restorative session.

Chiropractic care and massage therapy can complement each other by addressing both joint movement and muscle tension. Massage may help relax tight muscles, improve comfort, and prepare the body for movement, while chiropractic care focuses on joint mobility and function. Together, they can be a helpful part of a more complete approach to recovery and wellness.

Frequency depends on your goals, symptoms, activity level, and how your body responds to care. Some patients come more frequently at first, while others prefer occasional maintenance or wellness visits. We’ll help you choose a schedule that fits your needs.

No. Many people use chiropractic care and massage not only for discomfort, but also to support mobility, recovery, stress relief, and overall wellness.

We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. New patients are asked to review and acknowledge our cancellation and no-show policy before their first visit.
